What’s the problem?

Immigrant children are in internment camps in the United States. African Americans are incarcerated at more than 5 times the rate of whites. Refugees fleeing violent conflict in their home countries are regularly turned away from our borders.

Cool Earth 100px.png

Cool Earth

Cool Earth’s (CE) vision is a world where tropical deforestation and degradation have no role in climate change. The only way to halt destruction is to align the future of the rainforest with the people best placed to protect it. This means placing forests in the hands of the people who rely on its survival for their survival.

Impact

  • Over 900,000 acres saved of the world’s most at-risk rainforest

  • Over 200 million tonnes of CO2 locked in by keeping trees standing

  • 118 villages empowered and put back in control of the forest and their futures

  • For approximately $400 USD, the Cool Earth saves ~2.5 acres of rainforest.

AE works with society, governments, and companies so that we can achieve our vision: a world in which all animals are protected and respected.

Info & Impact
