An Exciting Summer Campaign Announcement


After four months, The Charity Experiment has featured 12 of the most effective charities in the world, raised well over $600, and have made a direct impact on the charities doing the most good. We are overwhelmed by the support and engagement our campaigns have received.

At The Charity Experiment, we are continuously adjusting our processes and goals to ensure that we remain as effective and efficient as possible. 

Being highly effective means doing the right things and being efficient means doing things right. 

With this in mind, we are excited to announce the launch of a new three-month summer campaign featuring three of the most effective charitable organizations focused on alleviating extreme poverty.

Our goal here is to create more digital and social media content for each charity, increase our total number of donors, and increase overall donation amount. We believe this new campaign will improve engagement and donation results while providing us with an opportunity to do more for our featured charities.

Oxfam has a vision of a just world without poverty. They use a combination of rights-based sustainable development programs, public education, campaigns, advocacy, and humanitarian assistance in disasters and conflicts.

Oxfam challenges the structural causes of the injustice of poverty, and work with allies and partners locally and globally.

GiveDirectly transfers cash to households in developing countries via mobile phone-linked payment services. It targets extremely low-income households. 

These direct cash transfers allow families to buy much-needed food and shelter, educate their children, and start small businesses.

PSI has an uncompromising focus on measurable health impact and measures its effect on disease and death much like a for-profit measures its profits. In 2016, PSI added an estimated 38.1 million years of healthy life with our products and services.
