Global Poverty 80px.png

What’s the problem?

736 million people live on less than $1.90 a day. More than half of the extreme poor live in Sub-Saharan Africa. Those that suffer absolute poverty do not have access to one or more basic living needs: food, safe drinking water, sanitation, healthcare, shelter, education, or access to information. A quarter of humanity, 1.6 billion people, lives without electricity. There are 2.2 billion children in the world, and 1 billion of them live in poverty.

What can we do to help?

Contribute directly to the goal of eradicating extreme poverty by 2030.

Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity, it is an act of justice. Like Slavery and Apartheid, Poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings.

Sometimes it falls on a generation to be great. You can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom.
